Expertus’ Service Bureau (SB) is an offering geared towards Financial Institutions (FIs) and Corporations that want to reduce their payment system and SWIFT’s operating costs, while maintaining or improving their current technical and operational posture. There are numerous benefits associated with joining our SB – security, services, reduction in operating costs, scalability, user friendly portal, no maintenance of platform, etc.

Being certified as a SWIFT member SB, enables us to provide SWIFT’s platforms with a user friendly portal for clients to exchange payment instructions with their business partners.

There is a full gamut of SB’s models provided by Expertus. Depending on the model selected by the client, an annual saving of 15% to 60% of the client technical operating costs can be realized.

State-of-the-art Technical Environment
We have selected our key SB partner - Primus Business Services. They met of requirements for hosting mission-critical applications in the financial sector. Primus knowledge and experience in managing data centre for mission-critical applications is well known in the financial sector and in governments. They are hosting many mission-critical applications for Financial Institutions, governments and other organizations. Our SB uses best-of-breed security system (iris scanner, security guard 7/24, etc) to ensure that our client’s information is safe. The sites are all equipped with UPS, generators, etc to ensure to environment keep operating during environmental or human stress conditions.

Transparent Disaster Recovery
With three hosting locations (Vancouver, Ottawa and Toronto), clients can select one location for its primary site and one for its backup site. Data is automatically transferred from the primary site to the backup ensuring a transparent switch-over in the event of a failure of any apparatuses.
